Another round of laughter from downstairs tells you that your explanation must've been effective.

After a long moment of silence the door to your room cracks open the slightest amount, but you don't see anyone.

[Grease has 1 more turn (about 6 seconds)].

Getting in from the door seems a fruitless effort for now. Ghar will head into the jester room closing the door behind him, and look for a window. If there is one, he'll check for onlookers before exiting through it.

[GameMaster]

Ghar looked into the window below, down into the dimly lit alleyway.  Nobody was watching, or paying attention to the area.

As you begin to climb out, you hear a soft knock on the door...

[Complex_Assault]

Under his breath, Ghar only remarks, "Curses." Whoever it is clearly doesn't want attention. He opens the window quickly before standing some distance from the door, and says, "Please, do come in!"
