Etali, Kragar, Horat
How long you've been in the small cell, you cannot tell.  Your memories seem to be lost in a fog.  How long you've been here, why you're imprisoned to begin with-- all lost to you, and when you attempt to think or force the memories, they seem to flee from your mind even deeper into the fog.

Your past, your thoughts, even just your name itself seems to escape you.

The cell itself is comfortable enough, and relatively clean if simple.  But your surroundings haven't mattered much as you spend most of your days chasing dreams of who you once were, in some other world far away.  Mayhaps it's the food, or the drink, or some magic that permeates the stone walls that surround you and even the very air itself?  Who can say?

Companions you have in adjorning rooms, of this you know in the rare moments that any of you are lucid.  Though by now you know one another's voices, you actually know nothing else of one another.

But there is a voice that you do know, and with zero doubt.  Your captor?  Your caretaker?  Both?  Some anger stirs within you, but also the knowledge that he brings precious sustenance... food and drink to keep you alive in this maddening prison for another day, another stretch of eternity.

That voice can be heard by each of you now, but without the commanding power you've always known it to have, infused instead with resignation and perhaps, complete defeat.

Zerathos
"No longer am I able to protect you all here in this place.  Not from the crowds that begin to descend upon us, not from the brutal death of thirst without end, not from this cursed desert, and not from He who will end us all."

You can all hear him pacing, can almost hear the gears of hims mind attempting to find any other option.

"Another failure upon my soul," he says bitterly."

loud clanging as a lever is slammed somewhere nearby, and the drgging of heavy chains being pulled after being immobile for a very long time.

"Thus I must release you to your fate-- to our fate-- that you may at least die fighting to your last poisoned breath instead of stuck here in this cursed hole," he pauses again and with a heavy sigh his tone drops once more, "Should you have any fight left in you after this dark and empty imprisonment."

And with that you hear his footsteps departing up the stairs he has tread so many tiems before.

What do you do?
What do you do?

Kragar

I test the door to my cell.  Throwing my full weight against it.

GameMaster

Kragar
The heavy stone door opens easily and you find yourself barrelling through into a small empty room and almost into the next wall.  You see several other stone doors for similiar cells, and the stairs almost exactly where you imagined them.

Etali, Horat
You both hear a heavy crash and the grating of heavy stone as a door opens... One of your peers has escaped his cell!

What do you do?

Kragar

I walk over to the other doors and try to open them.

GameMaster

Kragar
The first heavy stone door you open is empty, and the second has a sleeping troll... At least, it seems to be sleeping.  It does not stir when you opened the heavy door to its cell.

Etali, Horat
You hear the heavy stone doors nearby being opened, and the door to your cell may be next!
What do you do?

Kragar

I close the door that has the troll.  Then check the other doors.  If there are no other occupants, I will head up the stairs.  Do I have any clothes or equipment on me?

Horat

Kragar

On hearing the call for help, I open the door to where I hear it from.

I slowly push open the door and step through towards the door.

GameMaster

Kragar
Hearing a voice you recognize for help, you heave the heavy door open to find a Tiefling.

Horat
A hulking figure pulls the heavy stone door open, releasing you from the cell.

Etali
Another figure steps out of a cell two doors down from the others.

[At this point, you should all describe what you look like... You have clothing but none of your gear...
Then each of you needs to decide what you're going to do next!]
What do you do?

Kragar

(Kragar is a half dragon with almost translucent skin and wings.  He is 7 feet tall and muscular.)

GameMaster

[Yes, at this point the 3 of you can see one another.

...Well, you can mostly see Kragar, lol!]
What do you do?

Coyotemoon

I walk over slowly to the other prisoners with my hands up level with my head

Coyotemoon

Etali is an 8 foot half dragon with blue green scales. He is broad and muscular. No wings but has a tail resembling a crocodilian.
