Kragar

Refusing to succumb, I continue to struggle and try to bite at what is on my mouth.  (Probably won't taste good, but, I will do what I can.)

Horat

It appears I was not far enough, I struggle and try to break out.

Etali
Refusing to accept defeat, your struggle seems to be in vain and your eyes close for what is probably the last time.  Suddenly however, the tentacles weaken momentarily, and your strength is enough to rip it free from your face.  You can either let go of the tentacle and be free of it, dropping 40 feet to the ground below, or risk holding and wrestling with it but avoid the fall?

Lorennia
Her legs and an arm wrapped around the tentacle holding her, Lorennia feels the blade bite deep into the rubbery flesh of the tentacle, and feels the heat of the fire as it ignites and burns into it.  Acid and smoke fills her nostrils, and the world spins as her around in an insane point of view.  Malgrathor shakes violently and Lorennia's strength is not enough to keep her holding on.
Your right out torn out of its socket, you are unable to close it and shutoff the stimlius.  It seems like you might be falling, but you could also be flying in circles.  You are confused and close to becoming insane.

Ghar
Using the flaming blade of Zerathos, Ghar easily cuts away the tentacle attempting restrain you.  As you cut it clean in half, the part grabbing you dies away, burning into acid and ash.  Three tentacles dart in and dash away, taunting and threatening you but seemlingly afraid to get too close.

Looking down, you can see Phineas is starting to fade as he hasn't been able to breathe for some time, but no sign of Ash.

Ash is too terrified to give you any kind of message other than what amounts to a silent scream of fear in your mind.

Kragar
Kragar bites into the rubbery flesh of the tentacle, but cannot get very deep into it because past the outer soft tissue layer is something much harder and stronger.  Overpowered and dangling in the air for many long moments, suddenly the monster's strength goes slack for just an instant, and it is all you needed to break free.  Tearing the tentacle from your face stings as it pulls away some of your skin with it, but you are indeed free and some 50 feet in the air!

Horat
Even at the eduge of the monster's reach and with it somehow weakened and screaming in pain, it is far to strong for you.  Obviously hurt, it screams in pain and shakes you around.  Dazed and confused, you begin to wonder why you're looking at your own face upside-down?
Memories of your past assault you as you watch the fog around your head burn away with the light reflecting from the mirror.
Amazingly, that light also seems to burn the tentacle itself!
You still can't break free, but you grab the mirror as it begins flinging and shaking you away.  Holding the heavy mirror in both hands the palms of your hands are cut as it shakes!
[Roll Fortitude saving throw to avoid dropping the mirror, DC 8].

Phineas
Held high in the air by a tentacle his face and head, Phineas cannot breathe and begins to pass out.  He feels Ash in his pocket and warm wet liquid run down his chest, but whether it is blood or some other unpleasant toad liquid PHineas cannot tell at this moment.
You can see the desperate people within the Library below attempting to escape as tentacles dart after them, and some even seem to get away as the best retracts and roars in sudden pain, and then moments later an even greater lurch and pain!
Flipped and spun around by your head, it is only by some miracle that your neck hasn't broken.  Orienting yourself out of practiced habbit, you find yourself looking upward and upon the clocktower you spot Ghar, wielindg the firey sword of Zerathos and swiping at the tentacles!  But it isn't a battle he can fight for long, there are too many and he can do no real damage from there.

Kawa
Breaking free from the tentacle in the moment of Malgrathor's weakness, two foxes run up the tentacles with unbelievable agility.  The larger one is just as fast, but the smaller one jumps to another entire tentacle and keeps running upward!
The long appendages twist and turn in an attempt to catch the foxes, but they're just too fast!
The smaller one reaches Phineas, attempting to bite and claw him free, but it is no use, the monster is just too strong and it isn't doing enough damage.
Kawa has a chance to either help which will probably succeed, or risk his life in an insane attempt to save the elven girl by jumping from the tentacle he's on, cathing her, and somehow hoping another tentacle comes by for him to catch so that you don't both drop 60 feet to the ground below.

Zerathos
Prone on the ground far below everyone, Zerathos seems dead for a very long moment, but then pushes himself up and tries to stand.
What do you do?

Coyotemoon

I would like to use dodge against the enemy and start climbing the tentical heading towards it's eye.

Horat

I rolled a 11.
I don't drop the mirror.
I hold the mirror to reflect light on the tentacle hoping to burn it to make it let go.

Kragar

I try to catch any falling characters so that they don't get killed.

Complex_Assault

(Ghar will attempt a bluff)
"MALGRATHORR! ALLOW ME TO DEAL WITH ZERATHOS! HE MURDERED SOMEONE DEAR TO ME WITH THIS BLADE, PLEASE ALLOW ME TO PAY IT BACK IN KIND!! I DON'T CARE WHAT HAPPENS AFTER!"
(Ghar then urges Ash to calm down)

It's far too late for Lörennia to avoid becoming insane, and a blood-flecked grin crosses her face as the thought crosses her mind.  For now she just rides the confusion, knowing that actually fighting it only weakens the eventual fight back to sanity again.  So, with that in mind, she opens herself up to the confusion, inadvertently opening herself back up to physically "catch" things.

Phineas

If I see Lorennia falling, I reach to try and grab her  ...

** roll  d20  ... Nat 20**   <<catch>>

try to lower her to the ground  ...

**roll d20  ...  Nat 20**  <<lower Lorennia>>

Phineas
Nearly unconscious himself, Phineas kicks and twists and turns, catching Lorennia with a forearm-to-forearm handshake grip, but instead of jerking her out of the fall he continues his own spin and kicks both feet into the tentacle holding him, bending it so that they are lowered with relative ease to the ground.  Releasing her as gently as possibly, he is then flung back up into the air as the end of the tentacle holding him "whips" back upward, thrown high above even Ghar standing upon the clocktower.

Etali
Successfully dodging another attempt to grab him, Etali jumps onto the tentacle and starts climbing furiously toward the eye of the beast.  Though his strength and claws cannot pierce the tough skin beneath the outer laywer of blubbery flesh, they do make excellent tools for climbing toward Malgrathor's face.  Aware of what you're doing, he attempts to swat you away with other tentacles, but you are able to dodge or hold on through direct hits.  Before long, you are in front of the giant bulbous eye of the thing.

Horat
A fierce grip on the mirror, Horat is dimly aware of the wet sensation on his hands and the fact that it is probably his own blood.  Still he refuses to let go and holds firm, angling the hot desert sunlight so that it reflects onto the massive tentacle grabbing him.
Immediately, the rubbery flesh burns and melts away, and the tentacle retreats.  The monster roars in pain, and even from this distance your ears hurt, but you find yourself standing free with the mirror in your hands!

Kragar
Zooming between tentacles and around the god-thing that is Malgrathor, Kragar's speed is unmatched in the air.  He catches several humans and lowers them gently to the ground, and has a fraction of a second of veritgo during one turn when he sees someone falling in the wrong direction?
Orienting himself, he finds that it is actually a human who was thrown straight upward, higher than even the clocktower itself!  The fall would be certain death, if Kragar is unable to make it to the other side of the crature and make the catch!

Ghar
Standing high on the Clocktower, Ghar shouts down to Malathor at the top of his lungs, "MALGRATHORR! ALLOW ME TO DEAL WITH ZERATHOS! HE MURDERED SOMEONE DEAR TO ME WITH THIS BLADE, PLEASE ALLOW ME TO PAY IT BACK IN KIND!! I DON'T CARE WHAT HAPPENS AFTER!"

A roar that shakes the building and the clocktower itself is the only answer you receive, but the tentacles receed and leave you alone.

You don't receive a response from Ash.

Lorennia
Something solid on her back shifting this way and that, looking up through something wet to the monster from beneath it?  But she also sees it from a low side point of view, and the many people that are attempting to throw things at the threat from the ground?  Her head spins, and her everything hurts.

You open a hand, though you aren't sure which one, in order to catch something, but you don't know what?
Then it comes, falling away from Phineas as he flies into the air.  A stone larger than your hand splats into it, between your fingers.  It moves slightly, and then says, "Ribbit!".  Faster than you can possibly react, its tongue shoots out and wets your detached eyeball with its slime.

Strangely, that makes it easier to see and also relieves some of the pain.  It's not the first time you've slept with your eyes open of course, but it is one of the stranger dreams.
What do you do?

Kragar

I fly up to catch the person that is thrown into the air.

LorenniaNailo

I'm just going to lay here for a bit until the world stops spinning.  Though it's also a good time to tuck my eyeball back into its socket (using the same hand as caught the frog), as that's probably half of the pain right now.

Coyotemoon

Once i get to the eye   I take my claws and start trying to rip into it hoping to at least is distract the monster.
