Ghar hastily makes his way to Zerathos, watching everything unfold.

Phineas

as I am flying upward, try to orient myself as to everyone's position  ...  I know I left Lorennia on the ground, try to see if I can find Ghar (while I'm spinning through the air  ...   :D )

Kragar
Darting fast and true, you are able to catch Phineas just after the zenith of his rise, high above the battlefield, so that his weight barely slows you down.

Lorennia
Disoriented and quite insane, you spend your entire turn attempting to get your eyeball pushed back into its socket.  Its still not quite right, and you have to pry it out and do it again.
The entire experience is naseating and terrible, but of course its not hte first time you've been through this particular terror.

Etali
Etali dives in for the eye of the beast, intending to scratch and rend, but a fast pivot leaves him flying through the air and catching nothing for a very long moment before another tentacle comes from behind and swats him toward the ground.
You land in the sand with a heavy THUD! and this one really hurts!  Still, you're able to get back to your feet, and somehow the monster is even larger.

Kawa
At almost the same time and with the same idea, Kawa and fox dive in for the eye of the mosnter as well, but again and again the beast shifts too fast.  Both miss and fly through empty air, but dodge the incoming tentacles that they just saw hit the dragon-creature fighting alongside them.
Instead, you and your fox both slam hard into the sand, but you're able to attempt a roll and tumble to absord some of the impact.
Dazed and confused against the building, it takes you both a long moment to get your bearings again, but you finally shake free the dazed state.

Phinas
Years of navigational expertise come to you in an instant, and you're ablet orient yourself quickly despite the dizzying and uncontrolled trip so high into the air.  You see Ghar upon the clocktower, people far out in the desert, and the entire battlefield below you with one of the combatants speeding toward you... a dragon-man?!
Suddenly he has you by the back of the belt and colar, and you are riding under him instead of falling!

Ghar
It's a lot quicker getting down the building than it was getting up it, but no less dangerous.  Taking your time at key points, you are able to get back down to the ground behind the library without getting hurt, but the battle (and Zerathos) are in the front... You can either go all the way around, or try to cut through the Library itself.

What do you do?

Complex_Assault

Ghar will cut through the library on the shortest path to Zerathos.

Kragar

I get Phineas down to the ground as safely as possible while dodging tentacles and try find something to us as a weapon.

Phineas

Look up at the dragonman (no, I have never seen a draconian <dragonborn>)

"Thanks, falling that far is bad for my health."

Look around for my companions and any weapons ...  even an improvised one

Coyotemoon

I check my surroundings for anything i can use as a weapon.

(Will save roll 2 + 7 = 9)

Not sure if I'm mad or simply seeing (heh) clearly for the first time (ha) how absurd this is, trying to poke mye own eyeball back in at the feet (bottom?) of a one-eyed monster (who is also a prick).  Eye just start giggling uncontrollably, which would be concerning enough, but once the eyerony hits full force eye just can't stop laughing.

(Heal check roll 6 + 7 = 13)

And contrary to those who think laughter is the best medicine, eye still can't get my eye back in right.  Might be a lack of focus.  Who could have seen that coming?

...I might be making a spectacle of myself...

Kragar

(How many Eye puns can one dish out before Eye Scream?)

LorenniaNailo

(Hopefully queyete a few, wouldn't want to antagoneyeze anyone unnecessarily.)  8)

Ghar
Through the Library with the flaming sword-- Coming upon Zerathos, sitting prone and clearly dazed, you are in full view of all as the front of the building has torn and crumbled.

Kragar
You land Phineas in the sand a bit rougher than intended with your extra speed, but no worse for wear.
Looking around, you find no weapons of note.  The entire population population of the town is out in force now, throwing sand from too far away, some tossing sandals in the direction of the beast, all thrown so wide and far away that its comical, in a sad way.

And then you see the kobold within the confines of the damaged building, wielding a flaming sword over a fallen human-- The same kobold from the top of the Clocktower a moment ago.

Phineas
The dragon-thing swoops in and drops you roughly into the sand, but with a simple roll you are back on your feet, no harm done.

Looking around the battlefield, you are reminded that all of these people are unarmed-- this entire population has known only peace for some time-- however long they've been here?

Toward the temple you see what looks to be a tiefling using a mirror to fight off the tentacles attacking him.  Within the crumbling Library, the kobold Ghar weilds the flaming sword of Zerathos, and is standing over the sitting man!

Or, rather... standing eye-to-eye, since Zerathos in a sitting position is the same height as the kobold standing tall.

Etali
Glancing around, the only weapon within site is the flaming sword weilded by a little kobold within the crumbling and torn building on the other side of the monster.

Lorennia
Insanity grips you as much as the intense pain as your eye pops back into its sock.  It stings too much to open the eye, and something is clearly wrong with it, but it is back in the socket where it hopefully won't get lost... Hopefully you can remember not to breathe through your eye anymore, could your eye be sucked down your throat?  If it did, would you see the inside of your lungs?  What would it look like if you cough up your own eyeball?
It is a long, long moment before you can push aside the insantiy and the pain to focus on the world around you again.
What do you do?

While eye'm at it (I'll stop now, I promise), I should check my other hand - possibly I managed not to lose that knife with a death-grip...

Coyotemoon

I shake off the fall and yell at the monster. "You're no God I've seen creatures like you before down by the coast. Delicious with some butter and lemon." I then attempt to latch on and climb back up towards they eye once again.

Complex_Assault

Ghar speaks to Zerathos with anger on his face. "Get up. Are really the same man as a day before? All she gave her life for? All a thousand gave their lives for? You may have attracted an ire of vengeance from many, but that is not the end. So Thos, will you help us end the immediate threat? If not not for your God, then for your own beliefs new or old? This blade is beyond my merits. There is only so much I could do. But you are a master craftsman, and this is your tool. Every step forward is a choice, and it's high time you made yours."

Phineas

I move towards Ghar, dodging tentacles  ...  watching everything around me.
